I met with Dr Jacob today for upcoming surgery for an acoustic neuroma which will be performed by him and Dr. Dennis Bojrab, a neurotologist. I have been nervous about the surgery but after meeting with Dr Jacob he explained the procedure and what to expect in my recovery phase and I left there feeling more at ease. He was pleasant patient, took his time with me and answered questions that I had.
Did my research and was lucky to find Dr.Jacob after discovering I had a large skull based tumor wrapped around my brain stem and multiple cranial nerves. When you show up to an appointment with Dr.jacob be prepared to wait long past your appointment time to see him (I would wait all day if I had to) but be assured when he comes in to see you he will give you all the time you need, my first appointment he pulled up a chair and sat down to chat like we were good friends and took the time to explain my surgery in detail. As far as I am concerned Dr. Jacob is an excellent neurosurgeon. He gave me my life back. I lucked out finding a surgeon with superior skills.
Dr Jacob performed my pituitary tumor surgery. He was professional and explained everything thoroughly. I believe the bad reviews are from patients that don’t take into account t the genius level his position requires. He’s very no nonsense and I’m so grateful to have such an expert perform my brain surgery with a hugely successful outcome!
