Dr. Schmidt and the staff at this location are exceptional. I went in for my consult and Dr. Schmidt was patient, kind, thorough, gave me all the details of why she thought I was having the pain I was having in my jaw, she gave me various treatment options and what she wanted me to start with on my own. After 10 days of the doing the breathing and interventions she wanted me to do, my pain is gone. She is 10/10 and I would recommend her to anyone having TMJ or face pain. My experience at the Michigan Center for Facial Pain and Sleep has been absolutely life changing. Dr.Schmidt is not only exceptionally knowledgeable in this field but takes the time and works with you to get to the root cause of your issues and makes sure you understand in a clear and concise manner. I saw Dr. Schmidt for jaw pain. Everything about my visit was positive. Peggy, the receptionist is very friendly and making my appt was easy. I drove over an hour for my appt and it was well worth it. The office is beautiful and meticulously clean. Dr. Schmidt was so knowledgeable and professional.
