Kathy hindered is a scam artist. She doesn't pay her employees, she is a master manipulator. She makes money from this enterprise and expects unrealistic effort from "volunteers" notice the turnover. Also being investigated for welfare fraud, and t the board of labor and wages. Beware! She's very charming but basically a useless human
My association with Heritage Hill Haven has been filled with a sense of being involved with a purpose greater than myself. It is amazing to watch the impact these horses and the farm have on the children. The commitment is great but the reward is greater.
My child Chris, who has Down Syndrome and autism, loves his lessons at MAC. When I tell him that we are going to ride horses, his eyes light up and he gets the biggest smile. He has taken lessons at regular barns, but he did not receive the individualized, personalized lessons that he does here. His performance--speaking, being engaged--is always the highest after riding Tommy. The staff and volunteers are excellent.
Michigan Abilities Center brings life to differently abled people. Seeing a small child who doesn’t fit into society’s normal mold feel successful at something as huge as controlling a horse is awesome. The joy that lights up their face at the end of a lesson is beautiful. If I can be a part of bringing happiness and worth to someone’s life I’ll do all I can to make that happen. I’m grateful to have been a small part of helping MAC make a difference in people’s lives.
Being a part of lessons with Michigan Abilities Center has been nothing short of amazing. Seeing both adult and children’s faces light up when they walk into the arena brings a smile to your own face. Not only do the clients get so much out of the lesson but you do as well. I will always be thankful for my time spent volunteering at MAC.
Michigan Abilities Center has a 4.5 star rating with 22 reviews.
