Dr. Lopez is very attentive to detail and does not miss a beat. She fixed my high blood pressure issues when I couldn't take any of the prior meds. She diagnosed my husband's multiple health issues. She diagnosed my daughter's female reproductive issues. She is amazing.
Dr. Michelle Lopez was my doctor for over a decade until she left Theda and moved to a clinic in De Pere. She has been the most thorough, effective, patient-focused doctor I have ever seen. She does not sell out to the facility but rather does what is best for the patient. Theda has moved to a 'money-segment-profit' centered focus, which wouldn't meet with Dr. Lopez's ethics. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Lopez’s for well over 5 years. During this time I’ve had several significant health issues including: a chronic disease with little or no coordination effort with the specialist from Dr. Lopez, a life threatening emergency 3 day very expensive hospital stay (which could have been prevented if the correct simple tests would have been done when seeing Dr. Lopez on several visits.). Dr.Lopez is an amazing physician who cares deeply about her patients. She goes above and beyond to make sure no steps are missed. She takes the effort to know her patients, she will spend as much time with you as you need to make sure you understand what is going on. She's approachable, she gives you options and she is a great encourager! She treats you like family.
Dr. Lopez started off the appointment 45 minutes late. She didn't introduce herself, she ordered unnecessary labs, didn't address the issues that I came in for and was rude. She prescribed medicines without describing their purpose and spoke to me as if I was a medical professional. I felt disappointed because I didn't understand what was happening.
Dr. Lopez is very thourough and explains condition and treatment in a caring way!
