My family can't thank Dr. Clarke and her wonderfully competent and kind staff enough. Yesterday, at Mayo, she performed a spinal fusion and decompression on my 81 year old mother. There were extraordinary measures that they had to work around due to other spinal issues. My mother has been a patient of Dr. Clarke's for a few years.
After being a RN in health care for the last 10 years and being a patient of this provider in consult, she has no empathy, understanding or simple respect for her patients. I left the Mayo Clinic building in tears to drive back home 4 hours, sick to my stomach. I had very concerning frightening MRI results that I wanted an expert in the field to give an opinion and provide treatment if indicated. Clarke is down to earth neurosurgeon . Nothing like the other doctor. She actually cares about your problem, plus a good listener. This was my second surgery with her. I would definitely recommend her. Thank you for fixing my neck.

Dr. Clarke saved me from getting paralyzed by performing a very complicated spinal surgery. She is very humble, knowledgeable and humane. She was a blessing to me and I believe she has been to many. Organizing a team of doctors for the surgery in the shortest time possible she made my surgery possible.
