Overprescribed medications and blamed my period for 5 years while telling me various diagnoses would result in me needing her forever. I gained 100lbs under her care, got prediabetes, had hypothyroidism and seizures because of her. I stopped all medication at once to save my own life.
Dr. Seelman is fantastic and really seems to “get” our son. She took a thorough history and prescribed accordingly. She is very collaborative and efficient. She has been great in helping us sort out multiple pharmacy foul ups. I highly recommend her to all my friends looking for a good psychiatrist for their children/adolescents.
Very dissatisfied. She met my son for an hour without consulting his therapist who repeatedly reached out to her, made a diagnosis, prescribed 3 meds that require monitoring. She failed to return his repeated calls and no-showed at a scheduled visit. We had to reach out to his internist to refill his prescription when he ran out of medication and Dr. Seelman failed to return his repeated messages. Inexcusable behavior when dealing with a vulnerable adolescent.
