Awesome very direct which I loved. She got me off all the Bioidentical hormones that another doctor had me on. I am so happy , she convinced me and took interest in me:) I hear she is moving into another concentration of her practice now and wish her all the best! My OBGYN, referred me to her.
Dr McDermott has taken care of me for more than 11-12 years. She managed to reverse the failing trend of my health, as i age. She is skilled, knowledgeable, and amazing. She listens to me and cares. I love her and her staff. I drive eight (8) hours to ADC because of her amazing greatness as my doctor. You will love her to. She’s no kin, my husband researched and found her all those years ago. I have autoimmune ovarian failure, which went undiagnosed, until I found Dr.Mcdermott. I suffered w/o hormone replacement since age 27(now 40) since every other dr was either afraid to start me on it, or would say things like you'll be fine, you can live your whole life w/o those hormones. Inside, I was post-menopausal. She listened, she empathized, & she understood that hormones make us who we are & started me on the hormones I needed immediately. She changed my life & I'm 4ever grateful!
She is the physician I trust more than any other. That's something coming from someone of my age. She is an attentive listener and her explanations are clear and thorough. She has a soothing manner and I feel like she genuinely cares for me. Her recommendations and treatment choices have always accomplished what was needed.
