On this date a year ago, 7/20/23, I had surgery with Dr. Worrell to repair a grade 5 AC shoulder joint separation. The recovery has been absolutely amazing. 4 weeks post op I could only raise my arm a few inches away from my hip. By mid October 2023 I was back in the pool swimming front stroke. And 10.5 months post op I completed Ironman 70.3 Boulder. And 2 weeks later I podiumed in my age group in a sprint triathlon.
