I am so glad to read the reviews and find out he probably doesn't hate me, he's just an odd bird that way. Let me be clear that he was not unprofessional in any way. Maybe he just dislikes people in general (or is uncomfortable around people at the very least) and it eeks out somehow.I really do appreciate that he told me to call the office if the prescription was too expensive and they would help me get something affordable.His assistant is an absolutely lovely person, and the receptionists were nice as well. He's doesn't deal with all dermatology issues.I booked an appointment to get a prescription for a biologic which I am currently using. Spoke with the receptionist and provided specifics to my appointment. Receptionist booked my appointment, I go to my appointment and they tell me they don't provide services for biologics, despite having confirmed that i was looking for biologics in my appointment booking call. My wife and I have visited Dr. Woodbury for quite a few years, at two of his offices-- Collierville and Bartlett. He has helped me with an annual dermal physical. For my wife he has diagnosed, biopsied, and excise cancerous tissue immediately. He has histology equipment in his laboratory to section, stain and examine tissues, unlike others who send tissue out and have to wait for an answer. We are pleased with his knowledge and skills. However, I must admit that he's quiet and reserved.

Our family has been using Dr. Woodbury for over 12 years. My son had severe case. Dr. Woodbury was very conservative at first but then took an agressive approach which cleared his acne and his face is still clear. I have personallly have had 10 plus areas of Basil cell on my face or neck either frozen or cut out. If he thinks he can freeze it out he won't cut. However when when he does cut you can't tell unless you look closely. I have had 2 cases of viral skin infections. I had to call to get in ASAP. Both times i was seen ... read more

Great doctor, we have been going to him for over 10 years and he has always been helpful and knowledgeable. Wait times are short and his staff are friendly. Recommend him without any hesitation.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Micheal Woodbury for many years. He is straight forward and can look at mole or lesion and tell you right then what it is before he does the biopsy. He knows his stuff. He's on the quiet side, but I had rather have a doctor that's able to help me and is knowledgeable in his field and can do his job, than all the good bedside talk that many do.

I truly feel like taking my daughter to his office was a waste of our time and money. He basically had no information to give us and I had to ask for his recommendation bluntly and repeatedly on a very common skin problem. I did not feel he was helpful or optimistic in any way. Will be seeking out another dermatologist.
