Dr Lievens is perhaps the best doctor I have ever been to. He genuinely cares about his patients. He is patient, thorough, knowledgeable and kind.
I was referred to Dr Lievens for abdominal pain and high luver enzymes. I could not be happier with the care I have received. He takes the time to explain things, doesn't act like my questions are stupid, and communicates exceptionally.
Very caring people. They listen to me, the always call me back in a vert timely manner. Their office staff is wonderful. Dr. Lievens Nurse Practioner is awesome. Listens to me, examines me, is very responsive and caring. I highly recommend Kansas Gastroenterology.
I have been a patient of Dr Lievens for 10 years now. I have a rare issue and he has taken it on as if I was a family member of his. He is very caring and compassionate. I believe he puts his patient first and will do what ever it takes to find the answers they need.
During a procedure my intestine was perforated. 28 days in the hospital, two major surgeries, near death experience and now unemployable. I rate this experience poor. My first post op visit was spent having informed consent explained to me. Nobody is at fault.
Dr. Lievens has been my specialist for about 13 years and has done an excellent job managing my difficult. I am from a medical family and have high standards for the level of care that I receive. I have had second opinions that have agreed with Dr. Lievens diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Lievens is very bright, stays current with the latest advances in his field, and does a great job communicating with patients. He works very well with my primary care physician to help manage my care.
Dr. was very informative and answered my questions. in the past he did not suger coat my situation. He let me know my options.
