Overprescribed amphetamines in combination with sedatives and ruined my child’s life. Recipe for a fatal disaster. Should have his license revoked permanently. Please do not see this doctor, under any circumstance. If possible, I would have rated him with zero stars.
I started seeing Dr. Kilchenstein almost 3 years ago. I think he is very intelligent & up to date with everything I needed. He was Patient & had a Large amount of Empathy for my Issues. I would recommend him to my own Loved Ones. I was surprised to see any Negative Remarks.
Excellent psychiatrist with a strong knowledge of BP-I and BP-II, as well as BPD, and chronic depression. I saw him for three years when I was younger. He specializes in psychoanalysis rather than any skills-coping training, so if that's what you're looking for--he's certainly the best choice. His knowledge of psychoanalysis really helped me understand the "why" of my issues, and coupled with another provider's therapy skills training years later, I'm much better off from before seeing him. Dr. Kilchenstein is an exceptionally skilled psychiatrist. His empathy has made him one of the most important people in my life for over 6 years. He is my lifeline. This management has been accomplished through his wise and pensive listening, serving as both analyst and counselor. He diagnoses and treats mental disorders by ascertaining and analyzing the facts of his patient’s mental life. Dr. “K” chooses... read more
Never had a problem with Dr. K. He's always very patient and honest with me. I couldn't ask for more in a doctor
Would not recommend. He was great the first 3 visits with my son suffering from anxiety . When I had to call him at his request regarding a dose change he had no recollection of who I was or my son. Told him to check his notes as we were there 3 days prior . He became nasty and was very negative and stated my son had no hope for a future. Shocked because all he has is some anxiety. I believe he had no clue or memory of us.
Great listner, very compatible and not a stubborn dr he acutally communicates with you
I saw this Doctor three times for depression and adjustment of my medications. I would not recommend him to anyone. He is very vague, does not seem up to date on medications and does not seem adept at diagnosis. On my last appt. he was very irritable when I arrived. On the first appt. I really liked him and found him easy to talk with and empathetic. I suspect he has a health problem or other issues which is unfortunate. I am very surprised other reviews were positive.
