I was diagnosed with kidney stone at Highlands medical said there was no way I could pass It . then gave me some medicine sent me home with some kind of medicine to help pass. I could not stand. The pain went to Crestwood. They referred me to Dr. Wood. he stopped the pain immediately. got the surgery done and I am all better thank you Dr. Wood.
Nothing against Dr. Wood. Communication with staff was terrible. I was trying to make an emergency appointment after being already diagnosed with a urinary tract infection by my physician, which has been going on for about 3 weeks. The nurse working with Dr. Wood asked for test results to be sent to their office and it was done the same day. She was supposed to call me after receiving the test results. Great bedside manner and very compassionate! He removed my kidney stone quickly and made me feel at ease throughout the process.
Aside from the fact I needed serious medical attention I could not have been more happy with my entire experience with Dr Wood and the team. His professionlism, expertise, friendliness, thoroughness and frank honesty were so greatly appreciated. But most of all he ALWAYS took the necessary time to answer all my family's questions and was sincerely empathetic to my situation. I'm so thank for Dr Wood, and his professionalism in the field of urology. I had a large kidney stone, that was diagnosed at Crestwood ER. The hospital referred me to Dr Wood, he was very concerned and caring as he assured me, he would make me comfortable until the surgery. I had this type surgery before with another doctor, but Dr Wood made this experience very different and the pain was limited.
