I first visited Dr Michael Slavik over 18 years ago, just before my twins were born. (I interviewed 2 pediatricians at that time.) He seemed professional yet kind, and had been referred to me by a doctor whom I trusted. The drive to his office was long, but I was hoping it would be worth it. It has been totally worth it. My both kids were seen by Dr Slavik since 2014. Because of pandemic I was cautious scheduling appointments often but anyways office won’t call you to schedule your child’s annual check up. So we have missed one bill because of address change. And we have one more bill for missed appointment. Today when we came for a scheduled annual check up appointment two ladies in front desk whom I know since 2014 requested bills to be paid right away otherwise kids want be seen by doctor. Dr Slavik treats both our kids. He is absolutely the best. He is so patient even when we bug him with questions even when we were first time parents. He doesn't provide unnecessary medicines or tests. This proves that he truly cares about the child rather than satisfy the parental sensibilities.
