Horrible office staff who would put you on hold for almost 30 minutes. They failed to reschedule my surgery and forgot to send my prescription before the surgery. Really hard to get hold of someone from his office.
My experience with Dr. Sciarra has been excellent. I have been a patient of his for over 16 years. He follows up with his patients after procedures. I WOULD rather have him as my primary care physician...
My parents are both patients of Dr Sciarra's and he is a lifesaver! They are both skittish about going to the doctor. They have been patients of his now for about two years and he has helped them tremendously. Wonderful doctor, great office. Very pleased!
Very bad expereince and still dealing with it. Has a large chip on his shoulder , full of attitude. Spent 2 minutes with me and didnt want explain anything. Was more intrested in peddling his branded Probotics...They messed up the billing big time and every time I call the office, they dont respond or care to fix the billing. They are just too busy taking in new patients and dont care to fix the billing errors Im dealing with ...the pain continues...on the phone daily...
I was sick for about 4 weeks when my GP advised that I should see a GI specialist. I contacted Dr. Sciarra's office in Secaucus and was told that I would have to wait 3-4 weeks for an appointment there, but as I was so ill, they gave me an immediate appointment in the Edgewater office. Wanda, who made the schedule was wonderful! I waited for about 15 minutes when the doctor came in. Within 10 minutes, I had the first appointment for an endoscopy the next morning. I was healed!
Terrible experience! I went to him as an emergency patient in need of an endoscopy and I was scheduled 4 weeks out! My condition worsened and I ended up being hospitalized. Dr Sciarra was notified, he was supposed to do the endoscopy the following day of me being admitted, he was a no show then later on called saying he was too busy the entire week and couldn't perform the endoscopy on me at all. My PCP had to find me another GI doctor to do it. Shows how much Dr Sciarra cares about his patients
