Dr Schwartz was extremely helpful and explained the procedure that I need. Loved his sense of humor too.
Can not make an appointment without an insurance referral. PCP won't get the referral until the appointment is scheduled. I have been a nurse over 30 years and never encountered such a stupid policy. Have always made the appointment first with specialists because if you get the referral first and then can not get the appointment it is a tremendous amount of work to have insurance cancel the referral and then obtain a new one.
