I have been a 20+ years patient of Dr. Lifshen and consider myself lucky to have had him through medical and lifestyle changes that have helped me improve the overall quality of my health as I've aged into my 60's. He is pro-active in many respects and yet doesn't overreact when health decisions need to be made. I have been going to Spencer since I was in the 1st grade. I am currently 23. He is absolutely amazing. You can always tell he truly has your best interest at heart and all he wants to do is help you with whatever it is you are going through. If you are in Austin, this is the man you need to see.

Great doc with excellent bedside manner. His lead PA, Keri, is also awesome. Both have common sense, very health conscious, knowledgeable, and caring. It's obvious they love their job and care for the patient. Blessed to have found him and his staff.
Dr. Spencer is gracious with her time, she listens and cares about her patients. I appreciate her approach to diagnosing a problem and I am thankful for her thorough explanations of the diagnosis. In addition to a wonderful doctor, the staff is excellent, from the time you check in to the time you leave, they are helpful and kind.

I had a most unpleasant visit with Dr. Lifshen. I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone! He was very rude and unsympathetic to my symptoms. Much less, he neglected to send me for a CAT scan after I received a sharp blow to the head and one week later I ended up in the ER having a CAT scan due to symptoms of a concussion that had been left undiagnosed. Wonderful bedside manners, thoughtful, knowledgeable, really cares about patients.
Over many years now Dr. Lifshen has always proven to be pleasant and never made me feel rushed. He generally listens well, and I appreciate his knowledge of and willingness to recommend selected OTC/supplement options as an initial course of action before automatically turning to prescriptions.
