Had my1st consult with Dr. Russo today. Can't tell you how fantastic it was to have real conversation about my concerns, I had to switch from Dr. Iqbal due to horrible follow up care & A LOT of misinformation. Dr. Russo is fantastic! He really put me at ease, for God's sake the man spent over an hour with me! Over an hour !! He's so knowledgeable, addressed every single question I had and I brought a 2 page list of single spaced questions b/c I’m just that information starved. Just the BEST!
Today I am 3 months post up and I am so thankful for the tool Dr. Russo gave me. This man has "magic hands"! He is knowledgeable, focused, he answered all the questions I had pre/post-op. He gave me peace of mind and was extremely reassuring that I was going to be okay. I had opted for the gastric sleeve and after much research, Dr. Russo was the surgeon for me. Best decision hands down!
Great Dr and guy. He listens, he's smart, and does a great job. I had double hernia repair. One low and one I didn't know I had at my belly button. I knew first visit talking with him before surgery was scheduled I was in the right place and found the right Dr to help me. I would recommend to anyone and family go see this guy and you will get the help you need.
I had surgery for a hiatal hernia and Nissan. He was very informative and very helpful. My wife and I knew we wanted him to be the one to operate on me. The surgery was a success and he did a wonderful job. I am still recovering but everything I've read about the recovery is spot on. No major complications and minimal side effects. It was hard living with such horrible avid reflux but since my surgery I have had no reflux what so ever. Dr. Russo is a great guy and surgeon.
I am very happy for choosing Dr. Russo to perform my weight-loss surgery. He made me feel comfortable and he did exactly what he said. I felt that I was in good hands from the very beginning. I will highly recommend him to anyone else that I come in contact with that is interested in having the same procedure. He is a blessing to so many people including me.
He & his staff were very patient with me throughout the process to have gastric bypass surgery & the recovery process.
Dr Russo did my gallbladder removal surgery, From the 1st appt to my surgery day he made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend him . Great surgeon.
