I move often and its always a pain to find a new dentist. The paper work, wait, discussion of dental history, etc. It took me five minutes to fill out the paper work in-house and as soon as I was done Dr. Rubin welcomed me. He did a cleaning, x-ray, and answered all my questions. I'll be going back in 6 moths for another cleaning. He was very clear about the expense, what my insurance covered, and didn't pressure me into things I don't need done to my teeth. Very nice dentist...friendly and efficient. I'd recommend him for sure.
The office doesn't have top facilities or equipment, but Dr. Rubin makes up for it with his skill. It's nice to have a dentist that doesn't rely on machines, and who is so good performing pain free dentistry with care by hand. All my cleanings with Dr. Rubin have been performed by him, and I don't believe he has a dentist hygienist. So value wise, you are getting the skills and experience of a full on dentist for work that is usually performed by an undereducated dental hygienist.
Dr Rubin is a very professional dentist. His office is very simple and small however this is how he keeps the prices down! Dr Rubin is very honest about treatment and insurance. Dr Rubin does not push any products or try to sell you things you do not need. He does every cleaning himself with great detail.
I had a very bad experience with this dentist in June 2007. His facility is not well maintained: in the waiting room you could see stains on the ceiling. Also he consulted me in a room that was poorly equipped; I could see black stains on a white wall. He never called me by my name once. I felt like receiving a second class citizen service. I was really disappointed to a point that I could not even relaxed. Dr. Rubin is a consumate professional. His calm demeanor and relaxed office make for easy visits, and he handles most admin issues himself. Definately worth your time.
I love Dr. Rubin. He does his own cleaning and is very gentle. He can get you in pretty quickly and is very honest about whether you need dental insurance, etc. He doesn't push any kind of extra treatments. I recomend him to others al the time.
Dr. Rubin is the best! The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. He allows you plenty of time to talk about any issues regarding your teeth. I would highly recommend!
Doctor Rubin carefully performs the cleanings and answers all questions. Provides quick callbacks in emergencies, even on weekends. Knowledgable about specialists in the area. No problems with billing or insurance.
