Micheal Roberts Construction was the general contractor for my whole house renovation. The project was done in two phases so we could continue to live in the house throughout the project. After seemingly "living" with the guys from Michael Roberts for the last year, I can say without hesitation that they (Michael, Steve and Alex) are welcome in our home anytime. Mike helped to bring my yoga wellness studio to the beautiful zen place that I needed. It was a pleasure to work with Mike and Steve. Mike provided a very organized, detailed contract and followed it in a timely manner. There were never any surprises. Steve was the most flexible and responsible in all his coordination of contractors and construction despite our strict schedule of trying to work around not disturbing our patients. Project Scope - Kitchen redesign/remodel, first floor bathroom redesign/remodel, mudroom built in, family room redesign, master bed and bath remodel and redesign and paint the home interior. Design Phase – Kitchen lay out changes (including moving a stairwell to accommodate a new butler’s pantry), complete redesign of the master bed and bathroom layout. We had the pleasure of working with Michael Robert Construction on a complete gut renovation of our basement in 2011. Our house was built in approximately 1920, so Mike and his team installed an entire new French drain and sump pump system and leveled our floors before going on to design and build us a beautiful living space, laundry room and half bath. Michael Robert Construction provided us with an existing house renovation as well as an addition. There were many changes made to the original scope of the work (made by us) which they handled in stride. Throughout the project it was clear that they wanted us to end up with a home we loved and enjoyed. We are happy to say we've accomplished both. Mike, Ellie and the entire crew are great - we felt especially lucky to have Randy as our foreman. He is a very talented guy and we were so grateful to have him on the job.

Michael Robert Construction designed and built a kitchen renovation and half bath room for us. The whole process was excellent. The lines of communication with the project manager and foreman were great. The crews took real pride in their work and were incredibly neat. MRC redid our whole house . They did an addition on the first and second floor. They gutted our existing dining room added square footage to it. A new mudrooms and powder room along with a huge master closet were also added. New hardwood flooring was added. new doors , hardware , painting of all rooms. We've done 3 projects with Mike and all have been great. First was an energy audit followed by insulation and a new furnace. (I never met anyone as excited about insulation.) We were very pleased with the process, his professionalism and his great communication. He even smoothed the process of getting our energy rebates form the state of New Jersey.
