Would it hurt to actually spend more than 3 minutes with the patient, to actually listen to complaints and not give me information google can and ACTUALLY LOOK AT IT before sending me home? A simple how are you, any discomfort, what happened, would be nice too! Oh and receptionist?? RUDE!!
If you are looking for a good doctor for your orthopedic needs, Dr Shapiro is the best. I have had multiple surgeries done by him over the last 20+years including a bi-lateral knee replacement and could not be happier. I never thought I would be able to go upstairs like a normal person one foot over the next and now I can. His surgical technique is like a plastic surgeon with minimal scarring. Excellent surgeon! Have had 2 surgeries with Dr. Shapiro and both went wonderfully well with great outcomes in average time for recovery. In fact, I am soooooooooo excited after my total hip replacement this year for giving me back a life free from constant agonizing pain all day. I fractured two bones and Dr. Shapiro was the surgeon assigned to go in and get me back whole. Surgery was a success and a week later I had a follow up where he took out the stitches. I had to do my own research on after care — which I was happy to do — and gaining mobility back in my arms.
