Saw Dr. Robichaux for carpal tunnel syndrome. Steroid injections to wrists worked wonderfully, constant pain went away completely, even though I had to overwork them for weeks afterwards. He really listened to what I said, and gave excellent advice, and had excellent "bedside manner", brisk but very pleasant.
3rd visit to Dr Robichaux for a genetic arthritic condition in my thumbs. On the very 1st visit (I'll admit I pulled some strings via my niece who happens to be a family friend to get me in quickly due to my pain) he advised I had 2 choices, surgery or injections, and he would go with my decision... I chose injections and have seen him twice more over the past 2+ years for additional injections. I know surgery is coming and I have all the confidence in the world that Dr Robichaux will do an A+ job when that time comes
I saw Dr. Robichaux yesterday. He was really great. He asked me questions, listened and explained everything to me. He has a very inviting personality.
Excellent example of the two main principles taught early in the Medical School: Empathy and Competence. 1) Dr. Robichaux tries to discover what the patient feels and thinks, and, with a smile, optimistically inspires improvement and relief. 2) Without hesitation, he immediately emits a diagnostic and informs of his recommendation, whether imaging, medication, supply, surgery...and whichever will prove right.
He was very knowledgeable and nice
This appointment was the most convenient & experience that I have had in a long time. From the receptionist, to the X-ray technician, to Dr. Robichaux, it was all well orchestrated and very considerate of my time and desired outcome. Would recommend BROC to anyone!
Dr Robichaux performed surgery on both my arms that were broken due to a fall I had in Utah. The initial surgeon in Utah did a horrendous job that had to be redone by Dr. Robichaux on short notice. He spent hours on surgery fixing my bilateral open fracture and hopefully saved my ulnar nerve that had been left detached by the previous Doctor.
Would highly recommend Dr. Robichaux to anyone with hand injuries.
The office was very efficient and streamlined. Services were timely and the staff very helpful. Dr. Robichaux was very professional, knowledgeable and personable.
