Dr Alex is amazing. I recently moved to the Niceville area and had a loose crown. I went into Aspen Dental and walked right out, but before I did, I asked if there was a 'non-chain' dentist in the area. They referred me to Okaloosa Family Dentistry. I scheduled an appointment and saw Dr Alex a few days later. This practice is top notch: from the front desk staff to the doctors and their assistants. Spring House Family Denistry is an excellent practice. The outstanding service starts as soon as you walk into the door. The receptionist is extremely pleasant and professional and always tries to accomadate your scheduling needs. Dr. Grallich does exceptional work with a sense of caring, patience, allowing for your input, and with outstanding dental skills. I saw WRD for a yearly cleaning (once before, last year). The hygienist said she was going to do an oral cancer screening. I didn't think anything of it, thinking it was included in the visit. A month later, I get a bill for $35.00. I called the office, and the front desk said I am responsible for it. I explained that I wasn't asked if I wanted it, made aware that it was a separate charge, I did not sign off on it. Lifetime, I only went once. They did X-Ray and cleaning, filed the insurance and was paid fully, no other bill was sent to insurance. But they sent me $311 bill, without the explanation that from where that amount came from. What was not paid by insurance nothing, just bill. Lots of people said the do send bills, without explaining the services. I think they need to be investigated.
I visited Palm Coast Dental Care for a routine cleaning and examination with Dr. Kelsey Murphy. During that visit, several crowns were recommended as preventive treatment for the future, but no concerns were raised about the tooth that later became a major problem. Only two months later, I developed significant pain in a different tooth. Con Artists! Overdiagnosed for imaginary conditions! Overcharged! Scam!!! I got a second opinion from another dentist with a longstanding reputation and was told I did not need the procedures at all!!! DO NOT BE HOODWINKED BY THESE PEOPLE
Be aware of fraudulant billing practices here! If you do have a billing issue they can't even tell you where a charge comes from or what it is. I went in for some crown work and paid the charge as agreed. When the crown needed to be adjusted because it was causing me pain, I went back in and without being told or signing anything I was charged $573 for a 10 minute visit to grind off part of the crown.
