Was very close to replacing my knee and got a second opinion from Dr. O’Rourke. He took the time to explain everything to me and it was an easy decision for me to make to cancel my surgery. I have since continued my physical therapy/workout and my knee is significantly better and I am so happy I did not have my knee replaced about a year ago. Dr. O’Rourke is a very special Dr./surgeon. There aren’t very many “old school” doctors who take the time to truly listen and share his advice. He was the first doctor, after running around to many doctors to find answers who had a game plan and it worked! I’m grateful to be his patient and even more that I was told not to come back for a year!
I am so grateful I found Dr. O’Rourke! I’ve had one knee replaced by another doctor at a different facility and now need to have the other one replaced. After having just one appointment with Dr. O’Rourke, I already know I’m going to have a far better experience this time. He’s very thorough and smart. Everybody was extremely friendly, and explained everything very well. They explained the next steps as well as what to expect. Dr O’Rourke gave the options on what could be done but left all the final resolution to me to decide. They confirmed everything for follow up by email.
