To be honest, I was skeptical about having a Male Primary Care Physician, and was not too enthusiastic about my first visit. During my appointment, however, I was very impressed by how attentive and thorough he was. In a world where Primary Care Drs. are being rushed to see as many patients as they can in a day, Dr. O'Neill makes you feel as if your issues are truly being cared for. Very excited to finally have a Primary Care Provider.
Dr O’Neill told my 63 year old mother with severe anxiety that he would not continue prescribing her medications while she navigated the lengthy process of getting in contact with a specialist. He offered no assistance to help her with the process, none of his referrals even accepted her insurance. He criticized her for not having successfully arranged moving all of her medical care when she recently moved across the country. The solution turned out to be very simple.
