I find Dr. Michael Zarzar to be excellent. I have been under his care for five years.
Worst Psychiatrist I’ve ever seen. He told my Dad when he was sick to cut me off more financially when that’s not what I needed. That paralyzed me. And now my father is dead. I had mania under his care.

Amazing psychiatrist. I've seen several over the past 30 years and he is by far the most intelligent and compassionate doctor I've been to. Highly recommend him.
Dr. Michael is outstanding. He is very compassionate and competent and stays up to date on medications. He does not rush patients out of his office. So, he is often running late but it is worth the wait. He does not have generic answers. He listens carefully and gives advice that I could not get Googling. Despite knowing him for so long I do not know more about him than what I have asked because he does not talk about himself like some mental health professionals. Great help.
Dr. Michael Zarzar combines professionalism with a warmth that shows his appreciation of his patients' issues. He is a good listener, asks good questions and helps me sort things out. He is very intellectual, in that he is capable of a conversation about complex situations with many nuances.
I will definitely recommend them to people I know. I don't know of anywhere else that would've taken better care of me. I had a great experience. I've always appreciated how great they are about getting back to me right away. Whenever I call I always hear back from them within a couple of days. They were very qualified and knowledgeable. I could tell that they've been doing their job well for quite a while. I had to wait a few weeks to get an appointment but I eventually got in.
Did this psychiatrist have reasonable prices? Absolutely! How would you compare this psychiatrist to others in his/her field that you have visited? Among the best I have seen Was there annoying music playing while you waited or during your visit? No, there was no annoying music Were the restrooms well-stocked at this provider's office? Yes, they were well-stocked
