It was a Godsend to be referred from Dr. Nappi to Dr. Montuno when I was diagnosed for skin cancer on my ankle. I read about the 'Mohs' surgery for skin cancer that Dr. Montuno has a specialty for skin cancer.. I made an appointment with Dr. Montuno. Dr. Montuno has a double board Dermatology that includes his Mohs Surgery to remove skin cancer cells... His staff told me what they were going to do and explained in detail. So I felt at ease.. I would recommend this practice to anyone needing Mohs surgery. I had the best experience possible when I had a small cell carcinoma on my nose removed. It took three skin removals to get all the cancer and I had quite a large section removed. You honestly can’t tell that a skin graft was done. Dr. Montuno and his entire staff are the best!! You won’t be disappointed with their services.
Dr. Montuno and his staff are wonderful! Very compassionate, caring and efficient. He took time to explain and offer me both information and clear answers to all of my questions and concerns. His receptionist Heather was the absolute best assisting me with all my scheduling and insurance approvals.
I needed MOHS surgery for basal cell on my nose. Dr. Montuno got it all on the first "slice" AND I have zero visible scarring. Found out later he is highly regarded in his field.
Dr. Montuno is truly remarkable. From his easy going demeanor, the way he explains everything so it’s completely understood to the respect he shows at every moment. He is wonderful doctor and human being.
