I flew myself from NC to Boston to see Dr. Millis for the hip pain I'd had for 10 years (misdiagnosed). NOT ONLY IS HE WONDERFUL in general (funny, but respectful) but he is a GREAT TEACHER, who helped me to understand what was wrong and why; something 10 other surgeons hadn't done!!! I had to pay out of pocket, but it was worth it. Now, I can have surgery with confidence... knowing I've had the "best" look at me and determine which way to go. Dr. Michael Millis is wonderful!! He is kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. His sense of humor put my son at ease. He is very concerned about his patient's comfort and pain. He is in high demand so expect to wait but you will not be disappointed. He is a gem!!
Dr. Millis has good bedsied manner. However, I don't feel he truly dignosed my case well as its a bit complicated. I think he might be better for children (he is a peds doc but treats adults for certain things as well) than adults
OMG this man is THE BEST....my daughter started seeing him at 8 yrs old...she has CP....we waited 4 hrs to get in on our 1st visit.....this is how in demand he is......the wait may have been long but it was so worth it and it is Boston after all.........he even came in to the hospital on a sunday with his daughter to visit his patients when my child was in for something not even ortho related...and he stopped in to see us......This man is one in a gazillion......more docs should take lessons from him.....and he is sincere an... read more

I had a spinal fusion performed by Dr. Kim when I was 13 years old. They surgery was a success, and I am now 19 and have had no complications due to this surgery. Dr. Kim, in my opinion, was very knowledgable and friendly to me as a child. I would personally recommend him.
I can't say enough about this guy, my daughter has been his patient since she was 3. and he has always been professional and well skilled. when my daughter developed the same inherited medical problems her mother had we were worried her outcome would be as poor as her mother's but instead she has had as close to a normal life as one could hope for. all thanks to this doctor's skills and passion.
