I went to Potruch in 2009 while pregnant with our fourth child. Not only was he condescending and rude (maybe joking but it wasn’t funny, insulting to me and my mother-in-law), he did and said things that were extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable for me. For example, while doing my breast exam, he sent his nurse out of the room even though I requested she stay — I didn’t want to be alone with him— but he insisted she leave. For me and my family, Dr. Potruch is an excellent doctor, he attended my birth 4 years ago and everything was very good, he was very attentive and careful with me, with my husband and with our son. I didn't have any complications with my cesarean section. He is a professional with a lot of respect and dedication to his work and above all with a lot of human warmth. Totally recommended.
He is a great doctor very pt takes time to answer questions, her nurse is the best very helpful too. Overall wonderful experience
Horrible bedside manner. Condescending attitude toward all questions. Transferring OBs mid-pregnancy because he’s so awful.
I had given a bad review at first.. the thing is Dr. Patruch could be a bit dismissing at times, but usually he is great. I was a bit to quick to judge on a bad day. The staff is good, Dr. patruch is actually a great surgeon, he did such an awesome job on me. He sat down to talk to us and gave us answers to all our questions. Him sitting down by us made me feel like he had time for us. I stayed with him even though I was moody that day.
