I "was" a NEW client... I trusted this doctor to help me. Long story short, I found out the day (before) my SCHEDULED appointment, my Dr was a NO show, and my health insurance denied all services 😒. They had a month to resolve this! Va Oncology left me in the dark...... I realize everyone has their own set of life issues, family emergencies, daily problems, etc, that can pop up. VIRGINIA ONCOLOGY, and this Doctor had over a month to follow up with my insurance and reschedule me. IT'S UPSETTING AS A "NEW" CLIENT TO BE TREATE... read more

Long story short, I found out the day (before) my SCHEDULED appointment, my Dr was a no show, and my health insurance denied all services 😒. No one called me to tell me any of this! I am a long time patient of Dr Conkling. I wasa not sure about a new to me doctor, buy I was pleasantly surprised to meet Dr Lee. I am very pleased with him and his manner of speaking with me. He had already reviewed my chart and was able to converse with me about it. I think i will enjoy his Doctor visits with me.
I have a very rare from of cancer and Dr. Lee has advocated for me throughout this journey. He has coordinated with Duke for clinical trials and an excellent oncologist there. He has helped me navigate the death of my husband 8 months after my terminal diagnosis. Dr. Lee always takes the time to listen to my concerns and he and his staff are always clear in their communication with me. I feel like a person not just a patient with Dr. Lee.
