I told him that I was a few weeks into a colitis flare and he told me to wait a few weeks to see if it improves, then made an appointment for 3 months later. When I told him I needed more help, he referred me to a doctor in NYC.
My wife met with Dr. Kanellakos for a consultation today. We both found him clear, compassionate and exactly what one would want in a surgeon. It is clear he is a master of his art and knows all the ins and outs, literally. We look forward to the procedure of a hip replacement in the coming months.

Great doctor very patient
Recently was not feeling well. Called him bc I have a shunt since birth . Brushed me off . Ending up in ER needing a new shunt ! Please do not go to him. I asked for scans for years and he did not give them toMe only visual work ups and testing .i feel like this whole situation could have been avoided.
