Dr. Kheir did 2 partial knee replacements on my husband and they are both great. His entire staff and the entire process was exceptional! He listens to all of your concerns and questions as does every staff member. We are grateful beyond words for the care that he received.
Thank You Dr Kheir. I cant Thank You enough.You and the U of Michigan are simply amazing. He gave me my quality of life back, pain free, for the first time in many many years. Very personable and extremely knowledgeable and certainly a very talented surgeon... what a difference a new hip can make, especially with the correct guidance. I am extremely Blessed and Thankful to be Dr. Kheirs patient. I would certainly recommend him and his staff to anyone with a hip or knee issue.
Dr. Kheir did a total knee replacement on my right leg at the age of 71. 9 months later in standing the knee joint makes a cracking sound. Returned to Dr. Kheir and his opinion it was scar tissue. Dr. Kheir informed me he doesn't perform that type of surgey. Went for second opinion and it was determined that a plastic liner was not installed behind the knee cap to prevent knee cap from rubbing on new joint. I recently underwent a partial knee replacement surgery at the University of Michigan Hospital. Dr. Michael Kheir was my surgeon. I was impressed with the professional and consistent level of care I received, not only from the hospital staff, but especially from Dr. Kheir himself and his amazing team, his nurse, Jessica and his PA Natalie, who were both very accessible and understanding!
Dr Kheir and his entire team are amazing. I had a knee replacement and when my other one needs to be done I know where I’m going. I felt like a valued patient, communication was excellent, my questions were answered without feeling rushed, I felt respected and my knee is better than ever. A++
