I was impressed with the knowledge and professionalism shown by Dr. Karasik. He listened to my issues, took notes, and addressed each by recommending further exams, and ways to deal with the issues I had. He explained in detail what he planned to do to solve my issues. It was a lengthy consultation. As a result, I immediately knew I had a great doctor who I could count on. I’d recommend him highly to who anyone seeking the best GI doctor in Connecticut.
I met briefly with the dr a few months ago for severe chronic gerd. When I asked if my hiatal hernia was the problem he laughed at me and said no it’s too small. I disagreed and he told me you could not know more than a DR. I stopped seeing him and actually just had hiatial hernia repair surgery , the hernia was twice as big as they first thought and the cause of all my problems.
