I saw Dr. Linden for neurofeedback when he moved from private practice to UCI in 2023. He is a pleasant person and is nice but I don't know how competent he is. He was not respectful of patient time and was consistently late. He put things in my medical record that were untrue. He caused a massive billing nightmare for me through his incorrect charting and billing practices. UCI Billing was very difficult to deal with, especially the managers. Dr. Linden attempted to assist a young man on the autism spectrum with his anxiety and obsessive thinking. Initially, there was a great improvement, and the patient (at Dr. Linden's recommendation, gradually eliminated his medication and was doing so well. However, the improvement was short-lived, and when his anxiety and reactivity became so bad, he had to go back on his meds, and 2 months later is still not back to his pre-neurofeedback functioning level. Dr. Linden gave me my life back! I suffered for years after a head injury with startle responses and agoraphobia that no doctor could properly diagnose or treat. Dr. Linden did comprehensive testing that diagnosed my condition and performed treatment that worked very well for that problem. The neurofeedback treatment takes a while to work and doesn’t treat everything related to a concussion, but it does resolve issues that other treatments don’t.
