Best of the best! I have NEVER experienced customer service as good as this. The owner treated me as if he knew me my whole life. He took me around the shop, showed me the awesome lay out and repair stations. My truck was stolen and my father had left it to me after he passed away. He actually fought to save my truck from being salvaged. During the repair process I was constantly being informed of the status, and they treated me like family. They finished a week early. I truly want to thank TONY for everything he did to help me with my car. After my insurance called saying they wanted to declare my car a total loss, I decided to go back to the body shop and speak to someone and that changed everything. They stepped in, talked to the insurance company, told them my car could be repaired, and advised me not to sign anything because they would take care of it. And they REALLY did. I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had at Michael J’s. From start to finish, the entire team was professional, attentive and genuinely cared about my goal of getting my vehicle back to perfect condition after I had been in a minor accident, which caused damage to the front bumper. Michael J's is awesome. They were very attentive very courteous, and they even help you set up a ride to get your rental car. They told me it would take 4 days, it didn't even take them 4 days. I believe it was 2, but they are awesome. If anybody needs any kind of bodywork on their car, I would highly recommend Michael J's. It's on the corner of fourth and Gish. They also have another location. But I forgot where that one is. It's here in San Jose.
Beautiful auto body repair work! Leandro is great to work with. I went to the W. Taylor St. location and everyone I interacted with was helpful and enthusiastic. Update September 2025: Based on my positive experience, I took another car to Michael J’s W. Taylor St. location for an estimate. The car is a 20 year old BMW which I am unreasonably sentimental about. My main concern was about parts of the body that were loosening, one on the driver’s side of the nose and one in the rear.
