Dr. Nurzia agreed to see me despite it being his day off as he had cases in the hospital. He saw me in between cases & patiently explained my condition, presented to me the options & pros and cons of each, in order to come up with a care plan where I am actively a part of, so I will know what to expect. When I opted for the surgery, he expeditiously sent me to the hospital & booked me for surgery the SAME day. Needless to say I was able to spend Christmas at home. Genuine care for patient.
Dr. Nurzia gives you his undivided attention and respects your thoughts on whatever problems you are experiencing and potential remedies to pursue. He and his staff allow the needed time to fully understand conditions and solutions and ensure all your questions are answered. I always leave feeling fully confident the plan agreed to is the best one to resolve my urological health problem(s).
Dr. N. might be a qualified urologist, his bedside manners HOWEVER are unacceptable. If he or any other physician declares during an INITIAL visit not having the time to listen to the medical history of a patient, he is not only rude but endangers the patient's health. If a physician ignores the copy of an one-week old blood test, lipid and metabolic panel, and requires a new one, such physician is wasting insurer's money for reasons one can only guess. Glad there are other urologists.
Great experience with Dr. Nurzia and his team. Excellent communicator. Very caring and thorough. His team is patient-focused and very helpful with any patient questions, needs. I recommend him highly. LD
