After 40 years flying, I made an appointment and brought all my paperwork to get a Basic Med Exam. For some reason which I am still not clear about, He would not see me. If you are a pilot and need a get a Basic Med Exam I would not waste my time driving out there. He is not a medical Doctor and doesn't know what is required. Never returned my email.
Saw Dr. Tigges for a medical exam. Fantastic experience from start to finish. If you need a DOT exam to include an FAA BasicMed, then I highly recommend you go see Dr. Tigges and his staff in Gallatin, TN.
Dr. Mike has a great office. He knows what the patient is looking for and he exceeds it. Dr. Mike will keep you informed and will recommend the care you need or refer you to someone that can provide care if it is outside his scope. Dr. Mike knows the importance of proper diet and exercise. I would highly recommend Dr. Mike. He is a wealth of knowledge and truly cares about the community.
Dr. Tigges has been my Chiropractor since coming to TN in 2008. Some Doctors treat you, some heal. Dr Tigges is a healer! He treats the whole person with great care and sincerity. As a commercial driver I was thrilled to learn that he was now trained and licensed to do DOT and Drug Test examinations. He is thoroughly versed in the DOT laws affecting drivers and explains every step of the process. He understands how important our livelihood is. He comes with my highest possible recommendation!!!
