I had an absolutely terrible experience. I would not recommend going to this office. I waited a month to even get my appointment. I show up at 9:50am the day of my appointment which is at 10:10am. They tell me when I get there that it will be a 30 minute wait due to complications of the previous patient. Failing to mention that there was another patient waiting in line before me who hasn’t even gone in yet. After waiting 2 and half hours for my appointment, I get a call and they cancel my appointment without any clear reason... read more

Absolutely wonderful experience! I just got all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled today, the waiting time was very short and I was only under for about 45 minutes. When I thought I was bleeding too much and the pain meds weren’t working he was very quick to answer my moms calls and provide reassurance and additional instructions. He is very responsive to patients feelings (I was very nervous), and is quick to respond to any issue a patient might have! Would definitely recommend 100%!

Dr Garvey is a one of a kind doctor. I have nothing but the highest respect for him. I called him during an emergency situation with my daughter and he was there for us. Took her in immediately . He is understanding, but most importantly soooo knowledgeable about what and how he does what he does. If there was any doubt in your mind, erase it. You can't find any other doctor in western New York as good as Dr Garvey. It's been about 8 years now and my daughter has a beautiful smile. Thanks !!!!!

It's obvious Dr. Harvey is annoyed with answering questions. He has terrible interpersonal skills that make him seem lazy or as if he doesn't care. He is uncompassionate and rude and doesn't use medical expertise to reassure you of something if you are worried. He would rather not answer and say, "well, it's up to you, someone else can do it if you want." He even had the nerve to say and downplay a medical issue of mine that is very complex, saying, "we see that all the time."

Dr. Garvey is simply one of the most highly regarded oral surgeons in Buffalo. I just had a 2nd surgery with him--a complicated surgery requiring bone grafting, as I didn't have enough bone for an implant. Dr. Garvey was compassionate, asked me how I was doing, and assured me that I would do fine. (I did). He administered just enough sedation so that I slept through the surgery. When I woke up, I heard him praise his assistants for a fine job. Maureen called me to check on my condition.
