Dr. Garcia was very friendly and informative. I saw him to discuss options for bilateral thumb arthritis and he was able to provide some treatment suggestions, including pros and cons, compared to more invasive surgical options. His resident physician and nursing staff were great. My x-rays were done quickly and the doctor saw me right away after the imaging was completed. Some of the most knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff, I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with
Surgery was performed at Tampa General Hospital. Dr. Garcia came to me prior to the surgery and we discussed what extremity he was going to operate on then he left. The only thing that irritates me is that after the surgery Dr. Garcia did not come to me in the recovery area and tell me how the surgery went or to ask me how I felt. I’ve had 10 orthopedic surgeries and every other doctor would come after surgery and have a talk with me as a patient. This is the first time that did not happen.
