Dr. Gaffud and his staff have handled my 2 vascular surgeries with compassion and professionalism. They kept me informed on procedures and helped with scheduling of all preop testing, surgeries , and follow up appointments. Dr. Gaffud was very thorough letting me know what to expect, actually performing the surgery, and arranging follow up office visits. My recovery was exceptional because of his skills.

Very Rude,Condescending Gave the feeling that he knew everything and didn't take time to answer questions. He was in the exam room for no more than 5.minutes. I would not recommend!
Could very well be a good surgeon... but (based on my 50+ years as an adult)...he simply did not listen well, and too quickly threw out referrals to other doctors.. He didn't really look at my history well before I came in and didn't allow me a reasonable time or space to tell what my situation is. When he told me to go here and there...he was (politely, but coldly) impatient with my reasons for being reluctant...ABSOLUELY rational ones, based on logic and my personal history over the years. GREAT bedside manner, calming nature, puts people at ease. Very smart and greatly respected within the medical community. He was highly recommended by several of my physicians to perform the surgery and they were right.
Dr. Gaffud performed an AAA procedure on me four months ago and I think the best that can be said is that all is normal. I went into this hoping that when all was finished that I wouldn't even know that anything had been done. Mission accomplished. I feel as good as I did the day before the surgery. This is no minor surgery and to feel as good as I do is a testament to Dr. Gaffud's skill.

I had the honor to meet this great vascular surgeon who did my procedure on my dissection of my femoral artery and he was awesome from the meeting to the procedure. I could never say enough on this great surgeon and I would highly recommend him. Thanks again for the great job
