I needed emergency surgery and Dr Dorsi went out of his way to make sure I got the care I needed for my back and right leg. His NP, Jenna, was also very professional, supportive and quickly earned my respect.
Thorough with excellent surgical skills
He spent plenty of time with me reviewing my symptoms and providing me with a proper diagnosis. I am going to send all my family and friends to visit Dr Dorsi when they have a need to visit a neurosurgeon.
I should have pushed for surgery earlier. Pain from sciatica disappeared almost immediately. Pain from surgery lasted less than three weeks. I neglected the "as needed" clause in pain relief medication and reduced dosage too slowly resulting in severe constipation. Discharge paperwork on medications was so many pages without compact summary that it was hard to follow. I would highly recommend the team.
Installation of a spinal cord stimulator went smoothly and professional.
I have always had positive results with Dr. Dorsi I trust what he says and his surgical skills.
Dr Dorsi provided a clear explanation of the procedure during my first visit. The procedure went well. My back continues to improve each week after 4 months. I have had two prior back surgery’s at this same elevation. Outstanding back strength improvement.
I had a 'Paddle' inserted in my back. This was to replace a failed Spinal Cord Stimulator. This new Stimulator is working even better than the previous one when it was working. I also have a pain pump inserted and this Spinal Cord Stimulator works better than that. I highly recommend this to anyone suffering from lower back pain. It is a simple surgery done on an outpatient basis and I was fully recovered after a week and was able to get up and move around after the second day.
Dr. Dorsi is kind, thoughtful, extremely knowledgeable and an outstanding surgeon. My recovery from spinal surgery is excellent. I appreciate his expertise.
