I am one of the many who have relocated to Omaha just to receive care from Dr. Barsoom. He is one of the few doctors who administer amnio infusions and he is the reason my baby is alive! I will forever be thankful for him! He is a great doctor!
I would never recommend anyone go to this doctor. He has no care or compassion for his patients and doesn’t explain various things such as procedures or conditions. His ultrasound techs are rude and uncaring. He lies in his notes about the visit summary saying he explained everything for 20 minutes when I actually barely heard him say or explain anything, even after I voiced concern and my anxieties about the amniocentesis (which he did with no explanation as to what it was). I had to be hospitalized due to an unknown virus (in 2017) while pregnant with my second son. Dr Barsoom took exceptional care of baby and me, explained things to us with facts but also compassion, and he was on top of things the entire time. I recovered with no complications, and I'm forever grateful for his expertise and help during that scary time. I highly recommend him!
My baby and I had blood type incompatibilities. It was very confusing, as it wasn't our main types and Barsoom clearly explained the situation. In addition, my previous baby almost died of what we thought was Group B Strep. Barsoom looked into it and explained that there was no positive results from cultures taken, most likely due to my baby being given antibiotics right away and there was no way that I carried an aggressive strain of Group B Strep. I recommend him for high risk situations.
He was amazing for us. I had history of a stillbirth and miscarriage along with a genetic disorder that made me high risk. He took his time at each of my appointments, answered all of my questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. He delivered our beautiful healthy daughter. I have since recommended him to several of my high risk friends & family.
I normally would never leave a poor review of a doctor, but he had me in tears last year thinking that my son had a high chance of being down because of an enlarged left kidney. He had no regard to my opinion and gave ridiculous statistics with no proof to scare me. With my first, he claimed my baby was going to be huge. He was WRONG. Both times. Both my boys were born healthy. I would definitely not see him ever again and would never recommend him.
Dr Barsoom delivered my daughter Ariana 13 years ago today. I've never forgotten his kindness, expertise and compassion. I had a high risk pregnancy and was terrified it wouldn't end well. Dr Barsoom was my guardian angel. I'll forever be grateful.
Everyone in the office is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Barsoom explained everything thoroughly which we appreciate. Ultrasonographers were friendly and personable.
Worst experience ever! His office staff do not know what they do with preauthorization process and had my appointment canceled without notification because they could not the preauthorization request done by my appointment date! Called several times and got the answer was: working on it!
