I have shopped four or five times at Michael Hill, Queen St in the last eighteen months and on each occasion been delighted. Michael Hill sells a range of attractive items which are affordably priced. This store is well appointed. Today I went to MHill in particular because I heard they were more sustainable than other jewellery places. I decided to buy some sleeper earrings b/c the assistance i was provided was fantastic. The (white, blonde- didn’t catch her name, sorry) lady was knowledgeable (particularly about which metals came from where and their sustainability or not), super helpful, and above all else honest, which I super appreciated. I was a long-time fan of Michael Hill jewellery, but unfortunately, after this experience, I won’t be shopping with them again. My husband recently bought me a pair of earrings as a gift. When he got home, I realised they were almost identical in size, shape, and stone to a pair I already owned. I personally knew that earrings are usually non-exchangeable, but my husband did not.
