Michael Hill provided a fraudulent and non-matching "certificate of authenticity" for an engagement ring. The ring itself is subpar quality, having required 2 rhodium platings in six months. I received it back 2 days ago, and they have failed to polish the ring leading to rhodium staining that looks like an oil slick. The fraudulent certificate shows the wrong clarity, colour and IGI number. Still waiting for any sort of resolution to this issue, and now I have a ring I cannot wear OR sell. I purchased a 10k gold clasp and silver Michael Hill/Emma & Roe charm bracelet and added the lifetime care plan to it. I've had to send the bracelet back the times to get the clasp fixed. The third time I sent it back I was advised they can't fix it. I contacted head office and received this response ... "To clarify, a Lifetime Professional Care Plan remains valid for the life of the item or until the total cost of repairs reaches the original purchase price of the item. I wouldn’t even give them 1 star don’t ever be fooled by Michael hill for there quality or there care plans. Go to a genuine jeweller do not buy from this company.
