I dropped in here briefly late yesterday afternoon on the way home looking for a Christmas gift for someone special vising me soon from the US. However, when it comes to jewelry I am very indecisive and thought best that I would need my special lady with me to decide. Being close to Bourke Street Mall and Flinders Street station, the store is in a handy location and I found the staff to be extremely patient, courteous and helpful.
I went to this place today after visiting other MH store to get ready for xmas gifts served by such a lovely and nice lady, Audrey. It was a good decision of giving a go to this store. Her customer service was absolutely amazing. She helped me a lot with the choices and patiently explain and showed all different options, I went home happily with my purchases. Done I’m not going anywhere else.
I was experiencing some trouble with a ring that had become stuck on my finger overnight. I went into a few jeweler's and received very little assistance until I found my way into Micheal Hill CBD and was offered kindness, customer service and generosity from Audrey, Lucy and Mugdha. Using their assistance (and hand cream) I was able to remove the ring from my finger! I was very disappointed with customer service. I dropped a bracelet in for quote for repairs. I had to follow up with them after 3 weeks only to be told that yes they had the email from repairer but didn’t bother to let me know. I was then advised to pick it up 6 days later, only to find shop closed….supposedly for the day only. I went to the other store in the city to be told that they didn’t know where my bracelet was, and maybe the shop would be open the next day. Attitude of staff members was very poor🤢
LIARS. Went to this store to return an item unopened and unused. I was within their extended Christmas returns policy per their website. They straight up lied to me and said the promo finished early, which doesn't make sense. I showed them the webpage that said until 23rd Jan 2022 and she said no, it was 30 days from purchase, then told me 60 days. Then she told me they couldn't take it, but maybe the Bourke Street store will? I later messaged their online Customer Service which said the store was wrong!! I'm 10000% sure the... read more
