We originally attended Michael Hill Wollongong after purchasing two wedding rings, a replacement wedding ring (my husband lost his), and a diamond earring and pendant set. Unfortunately, we have now had two negative experiences with the staff, including the manager (Nikki?) and an older lady with short black hair. The first issue was a broken earring clip that fell apart in our hands after only 3 months of occasional use (worn 3–4 times). Good customer service.
I waited two months for my chain to be repaired. However, it never left the store. I have got the text message that my order was ready for pick up - guess what - it was not ready. I picked it in the same condition as I have left it - broken. It was nice to find it out after driving 82 km one way. I hope you people are proud of your "excellent" job. "Well" done. Never have I ever been so disappointed with somone or even have such a bad review to note I bought a ring last year for 4000 dollars I was told to bring it back for valuation after 6 months I told them I would be overseas for treatment for 8 months they said it was ok they would note it well I took it back now and they tell me my paperwork is invalid I have lost 8 diamonds and they won’t even look at my ring and to take it to a private jeweler I cannot believe how I was treated they are rip offs they are in it for the big bu... read more
