I came here to upgrade my engagement ring and Marcelo went above and beyond into making us happy. He listen to our needs, and made sure we got everything we needed. Thank you again ! We will definitely be back
My husband got me a ring from here in Aug 2023, I barely wore the ring because I'm not a jewellery person. Wear it to a vacation regularly for a week in Nov 2024 and 2 diamonds fall off immediately. What a joke, would have fallen off sooner if I'd been wearing it daily sooner. He also paid extra for the "professional care plan" but it doesn't cover diamond replacement, probably because they know how poor the workmanship is.
I spent about 30 seconds in the store. And I knew I was in the wrong place To purchase an engagement ring. You are met with a pompous jeweller and other staff members who think they are above you. Just because I was wearing my work clothes I was looked at like a peasant. The very condescending attitude by the team made me want to shop elsewhere. All I can say to Michael Hill is thank you. You really made me want to shop elsewhere. Maybe change your attitude and brush your teeth from time to time.
We had a great experience at Michael Hill in Waterloo. Vanessa helped us find exactly the right item and made the entire process enjoyable and stress free. She was thoughtful, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit, taking the time to answer our questions and provide excellent guidance. I’m extremely disappointed with this purchase. The item was advertised as gold, but it started to rust and discolor after a very short time. This should not happen with real gold. The quality is far below expectations, and it feels misleading. I expected something durable and long-lasting, but instead received a product that looks worn and damaged almost immediately. I would not recommend this store based on my experience.
