Bought a pair of earrings online and once received one of the backing is defective so I took to the store for help. As others mentioned, if you don't dress nicer you won't probably get properly treated. The two ladies there were rude and very unkind. They keep asking me for a pdf invoice which I never received, and showing the online order information seems useless and they couldn't be able to offer any help. My husband got me a ring from here in Aug 2023, I barely wore the ring because I'm not a jewellery person. Wear it to a vacation regularly for a week in Nov 2024 and 2 diamonds fall off immediately. What a joke, would have fallen off sooner if I'd been wearing it daily sooner. He also paid extra for the "professional care plan" but it doesn't cover diamond replacement, probably because they know how poor the workmanship is.
I spent about 30 seconds in the store. And I knew I was in the wrong place To purchase an engagement ring. You are met with a pompous jeweller and other staff members who think they are above you. Just because I was wearing my work clothes I was looked at like a peasant. The very condescending attitude by the team made me want to shop elsewhere. All I can say to Michael Hill is thank you. You really made me want to shop elsewhere. Maybe change your attitude and brush your teeth from time to time.
