Dr. Michael Hausman seems like a doctor well past the point of offering modern, responsive care — it may be time for retirement. I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Michael Hausman at Mount Sinai. I first saw him a year ago for nerve-related issues and never received follow-up on my test results, despite reaching out by email. I brought my 92 year old mother to Dr. Hausman. I had heard he could run hot or cold and we sure got cold. We were left flabbergasted at his lack of humanity, decency, and empathy. I felt so badly for my mom who had hoped he could help her in some way. He spent maybe 3 minutes with her and I guess because she wasn't a good candidate for surgery he wasn't interested. He may be a good surgeon but he appears to be a miserable human being.
No words can describe Dr. Hausman. He’s the best surgeon there is. Why? Because he put my broken hand back together 99%.. My elbow was broken from roller skating back in 2016 with my elbow dismantled with scattered bones and Dr. Hausman made me 99% back with my hand. May God continue to bless him in his career of surgeon. He sat with me and explained that he will do the best he can and believe me it was more than the best he could do. Thank you Dr. Hausman
Dr Hausman was a find. He diagnosed the problem. Provided excellent advice re therapy in lieu of surgery. Great follow up. Kind and considerate.
