Previous visits were as expected, however his office phoned requesting heart monitor to be used for a month. The Pinnacle for cardiology heart monitor service was to contact me to schedule the next week. After waiting over three weeks, no call. I called said to arrive at 10 am on 7/25. He is the best! He has guided and treated me through my most difficult days. He specializes in things that he expertly treated, graciously. Hard to find excellence and I have tremendous respect for his decisions. Stop looking for a neurologist and make the appointment. You will wait for your appointment because he’s phenomenal and you will not be disappointed. I am a very big moron and his demeanor is great. I've had only my initial visit with Dr. Hamer at this point. During my visit, he was very attentive and listened to understand my health complaints. I was highly impressed by his compassion and bedside manner. Absolutely recommend him!
Dr. Hamer was responsible for finding that I had CIDP, an issue that is difficult to diagnose. He started me on treatment and now I am cured. I am 79 yrs old, and the long term outcome for CIDP was not good….now I have many years left with a good quality of life to spend with my family and friends. This was no casual diagnosis…it took a true desire to be a true Dr. who cares about his patients. He has my most sincere thanks and appreciation.
