It’s rare to find a doctor that cares these days. Dr Tarlowe really wants to do his best for the patient. I saw a gastro Dr a few years ago and he wanted to have a big surgery with anesthesia and a hospital stay for a small pregnancy hemorrhoid. It put me off of doing anything about it because who wants to go through all that for something so small. It finally became bothersome for me so I went to visit Dr. Tarlowe and he made it a very simple procedure that was done in office with just local anesthesia. I had great results ... read more

Reception was fantastic, comforting and quick to explain the forms required to fill out. The visit itself with Dr. Tarlowe was thorough, did not feel rushed, all of my questions were answered, and to really reiterate: I was comfortable with the staff which is so important for any office in my opinion.
I am grateful to have had my first (ever) surgery performed by Dr.Tarlowe, it was a wonderful experience beginning to end. His staff members were also attentive and helpful throughout the entire process. 10/10 recommend!
I was anxious about my visit beforehand but what a nice compassionate non-judgmental guy. Before my exam he spent a good 10-15 minutes talking to me to understand why I’d come and talking me through the causes and norms of my condition and it’s treatments (preventative and post occurrence,) and gave me flexible options for follow ups or scripts should they be necessary in the future. Really a nice experience!
Dr. Tarlowe did an excellent job of explaining my problem and the steps needed to eliminate it. I was able to schedule surgery with him quickly. Following surgery, he followed up with me almost daily to monitor my recovery progress. He took the time to thoroughly respond to all my questions and comments. The surgery was completely successful. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Tarlowe and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone requiring his services.

I can't call him doctor until I know that he knows a fissure when he sees and feels it. Mumbling "what is all this mucus does this hurt! I think something popped out I will see u back in my office I am calling your oncologist have your GI Dr send your last colonoscopy report from 2019" I ask can U call him? " No I don't do that" He never spoke about the exam not one word about what he thought was wrong with me..
