I have been Dr. Gansaeuer's patient (Parkinson's) for several years.He listens to me and responds with appropriate detail.He has given me valuable advice without jargon or BS.He is never patronizing or arrogant.I like his sense of humor and the respect he has for my (diminished) intelligence.I feel fortunate to have him for my physician.

Years of debilitating symptoms and mis-diagnosis from other doctors ended when I came to see Dr Gansaeuer. He had a good idea what was going on and was treating it successfully, and then an EEG he ordered actually finally gave conclusive proof, and his earlier Dx was correct. Really appreciate his care, he’s been a lifesaver.
Cast doubt on the diagnosis (that we received from a neurologist at Stanford) based on nothing but a "feeling" then backtracked later. Treated me very condescendingly/patronizing seemingly because I'm a woman, because he treated my male partner with respect.
This doctor completely abandoned and delayed my husband's medical treatment, and to this day, we have no idea why. We came to Dr.Gansauer desperately seeking answers to my husband's deteriorating physical and mental state. Dr. Gansauer regarded our case with arrogance and disdain. After being in his "care" for over a year without any diagnosis, prognosis, recommendations, or referral, he dropped our case without reason. He has been reported to the medical licensing board.
